Move-In Information
Move-In Time Sign-Up
During the first week of August, all on campus students will receive an email from the housing office to select a move-in timeslot. You will do this through the housing portal on StarRez- http://TIFFIN.starrezhousing.com/StarRezPortalX
After you log-in to the portal, click on “timeslot” at the top and select the Fall 2024 Move-In time-slot. Then, select the time you would like to arrive to campus. We ask that you please arrive as close to your scheduled timeslot as possible to ensure a smooth flow of traffic on campus.
All students will be required to scan the Fall 2024 move-in QR code using the Tiffin University Mobile app. It is highly recommended that you download and register within the app BEFORE you arrive to campus. Information about the TU Mobile app can be found below.
- If you have not selected a move-in appointment, one will be assigned to you and communicated to you by your admissions counselor
- To provide a smooth and timely move-in for each student, we have designed a process that will limit the number of individuals who will move in each hour. In order to do this, you are required to adhere to your move-in appointment.
- If you do not remember your move-in appointment, you can review your appointment by returning to the housing portal and clicking “timeslot” at the top. If you have any questions about your timeslot or moving in, please reach out to the housing office at housing@zaolian.net
- It is VERY important that you don’t overpack. You can bring two vehicles with you, but don’t bring more than what can fit into a compact car.
Early Move-In
Students who would like to move in earlier than their standard move-in date for personal reasons will be able to submit a request and move-in early for a fee. Any requests for early move-in must be submitted to the housing office.
